    Full of mystery and adventure

I really enjoyed Dead Mans Cove because it was packed full of mystery and adventure. It was very much like the Famous Five and Secret Seven series` by Enid Blyton! Laura Marlin is an orphan who lives at Sylvan Meadows, when her uncle, Calvin Redfern claims her she is sent to St Ives, Cornwall. At St Ives she makes new friends, a boy named Tariq and a 3 legged Siberian Husky, Skye. Her uncle is a detective who is always out and about solving mysteries, one night Laura decides to follow him! The next day Laura gets captured by a member of the Straight A gang and ends up being sent to Dead Man’s Cove. Will Laura escape the Straight A`s, well you will have to read the book to find out! I rate this book 10/10, one of the best books I have ever read, definitely a book for Blyton Fans! Ben, age 11
