Home delivery

P+P is FREE for orders of £30 or more to a UK address. For UK orders under £30 there’s a charge of £4.95.

Your order will be delivered in 5 to 7 working days. Delivery times for overseas orders will vary.

Please note that the postage charge does not cover any additional duties and taxes that may be payable on overseas deliveries.

Book Club order delivery

If your child’s school has a Book Club order open you can choose to have the books delivered to school for FREE. The whole school’s order will be delivered together to be handed out in class for the children to take home.

Your Book Club Organiser in school will be able to tell you when your order will arrive, as we will deliver the books to school 5 to 7 working days after the Organiser checks out their school order.

School delivery

If you work at a school in the UK you can have your books delivered to your school address for FREE for all orders that contain at least one paid item. (If you pay for your entire order using Scholastic Rewards you will be charged £4.95 for postage.)

Your order will be delivered in 5-7 working days. Delivery times for overseas orders will vary.

Please note that if you are a new customer requesting school delivery we will contact your school to check that you work there.

Overseas delivery

The charge for shipping overseas from our UK shop will vary depending on the country it is being delivered to, and the value of the order. The postage charge does not cover any additional duties and taxes that may be payable on overseas deliveries.

For British Forces Post Office there’s a £7.50 P+P charge for home delivery if your order is under £50.00, otherwise it is 15% of order value.

Payment


Paying by invoice

Invoices must be billed to a valid school address. If you do not work at a school, you will need to pay by debit or credit card.

When requesting an invoice you will need to provide a contact name and an invoice number. The invoice number is for your school records, so if you’re not sure what to put ask your bursar or school secretary.

Please note that if you are purchasing for a school outside the UK we will require you to pay your invoice in full before we can ship your order.

Paying for a Resource Bank subscription

Subscriptions to Scholastic Resource Bank can be paid via Direct Debit, Credit/Debit Card or Invoice. You can choose your payment method at the time of sign-up and you can cancel your membership, or change your preferred payment method at any time by emailing resourcebank@scholastic.co.uk.

  • If paying by Direct Debit, payments of £5.00 will be debited from the bank account details provided every 4 months until the Direct Debit is cancelled by you.
  • If paying by credit or debit card, an annual payment of £20.00 will be debited from the bank card account until the subscription is cancelled by you.
  • If paying by invoice, an annual payment of £20.00 will be billed to the school address provided. *See Paying by invoice

Returns and cancellation


Exchanges and returns

If you’re not happy with an item you’ve ordered then just return it to us within 28 days for an exchange or refund. Please send the items to the address below along with a completed returns form.

Damaged or incorrect items

Should you receive any items that are incorrect or damaged, please call us on 0845 603 9091 (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm) and we will of course send a replacement straight away, free of charge. Please download and complete our returns form and return the incorrect or damaged item to the following address:

Cancelling an order

If your order was not paid for using Scholastic Rewards, you can reopen it up until 5am the day after you placed it – or until 5am the same day if your order is placed between midnight and 5am.

If you would like to change or cancel an order after this time please call us on 0845 603 9091 (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm) to find out if this is possible. If the order has already been despatched you can return it to us for a refund within 28 days.
