Our January 2021 Ages 5-6 Book of the Month

I really enjoyed the amazing TV dramatisation of Zog and the Flying Doctors over the Christmas season. So I thought it would be a great moment to bring back the magic of this fantastic story and give youngsters the chance to enjoy reading this sequel to Zog again and again. Julia’s wonderful rhyming verse conveys a lovely message of caring, kindness and helping people in need that really resonate in today’s world, and Princess Pearl is a great role model for any aspiring doctors. Axel’s inimitable pictures offer plenty to pore over as you enjoy the great story, which is perfect to read aloud or for fledgling readers to attempt to read alone.

Start this year by igniting a passion for reading with this bestseller in its own right. The perfect New Year’s treat to create a special place in youngsters’ hearts with these adorable and favourite characters.
