Stepfamilies. OK, even if they’re not the stuff of bad fairy tales, even the most perfect ones need some settling into. Enter Stewart: midget egghead freakzoid. (At least, that’s what his new stepsister Ashley calls him.) Stewart is a gifted geek who never seems to fit in. Not at his new school – and definitely not at his new home with Dad, Ashley and Ashley’s mum. Now meet Ashley. She’s popular and cool, and that’s how she’d like to stay. Her dad has come out and moved out – but not nearly far enough. Now the home she grew up in has been filled with bad decor, bad vibes and a freaky new stepbrother. Happy families? Not exactly. And when school hunk Jared homes in on both Ashley and Stewart (for very different reasons), things get even more mixed up!
