Living in Devon, listening to Mozart, and working with children have provided most of the stimulae Michael needs to discover and write his stories. He spends about half his life mucking out sheds with the children, feeding sheep or milking cows; the other half he spends dreaming up and writing stories. “For me, the greater part of writing is daydreaming, dreaming the dream of my story until it hatches out – the writing down of it I always find hard. But I love finishing it, then holding the book in my hand and sharing my dream with my readers.”

   This book is a mixture of feelings as for its as if you’re there.It also tells you how you shouldn’t judge a person how they look.It may even be one of your relatives.Additionally, you should always treat a person with respect even though you don’t know them however it does not mean to go wherever they go as for its for your own safety

   Escape from Shangri-la is a very emotional book, and it surprises you a lot if you actually read it, as you would expect Shangri-La to be some tropical island somewhere, but it is actually a nursing home!!!!!This book is a must-have and is great for people who like really emotional stories
