World Book Day - Introducing 2022's £1 books for all ages

Giving children and young people the opportunity to own a book of their own is at the heart of World Book Day’s mission to encourage reading for pleasure. Every year World Book Day works with publishers to produce 12 new and exclusive £1 books so that children can choose and own one in exchange for their £1 token. This year’s range of books can be browsed at www.worldbookday.com/books.

Children can experience choosing and owning one of the £1 books – for free – by exchanging the £1 token at participating booksellers. Schools can find their nearest participating bookseller at www.booksaremybag.com or email wbd@education.co.uk to be matched with a bookseller.
