Walker Stories: Ellie and Granny Mac

Every summer, Ellie goes to see Yiayia, her Greek grandma. But this year, Yiayia can’t have her! Instead Ellie is going to Granny Mac’s in Edinburgh, in a city miles from the sea! Ellie was looking forward to swimming in the ocean, seeing octopuses and feeling silver fish between her toes. She isn’t at all sure about spending summer in Scotland. Doesn’t it always rain there? So Ellie is thrilled to discover that there’s heaps to do with Granny Mac – and that having two grannies can mean having the best of both worlds!
