PM Emerald: Grandma's Smile (PM Plus Chapter Books) Level 25

Trudy’s Grandpa has died, and Grandma comes to stay at Trudy’s house. She is very worried because Grandma is so sad. Trudy decides to show Grandma the things that make her smile. Nothing seems to work, until Grandma meets a new friend who has something in common with her.

Emerald level (equivalent to the Lime bridging book band) provides a variety of chapter books and non-fiction titles. Readers are encouraged to experience different text types, writing styles and genres to develop their own reading tastes.

PM Plus Chapter Books (levels 25–30) provide a selection of stories chosen for their broad range of content, characters, topics and points of view. The high-interest topics include adventure, emergencies, natural disasters, risk-taking, historical events and investigation.
