Product description

Connectors is a groundbreaking guided reading series which narrows the attainment gap through peer-to-peer learning. Children work in small independent groups, each taking a turn to be the leader as they read a book together, following prompts to make predictions and debate issues raised in the text.

Clear prompts represented by coloured faces show each child when it is their turn to read and lead, and how to focus the discussion by asking the others to predict outcomes, clarify issues and pose questions. This exciting approach builds reading and listening skills, promotes successful teamwork and encourages every child to participate.

Now, for the first time, the Connectors series branches out into fiction, allowing children to develop their thinking and reading skills by enjoying fun story texts. Each original story is book banded and follows a problem-resolution structure set in a familiar home or school environment.

This pack contains six copies of all twelve fictional titles in the Connectors series for Years 2 and 3 – a total of 72 books spanning Book Bands Orange, Turquoise, Gold and Purple.
