Our Orange book band pack is perfect for children with a reading age of 6.5-7.

Each reader is carefully levelled to build children’s reading confidence through the gentle introduction of new words, characters and themes. Orange level readers focus on:

• Greater use of compound sentences and varied punctuation
• Introduction of chapters and more complex stories
• Meaningful illustrations to support the story
• Strong narratives covering animals, community, family situations and real-life experiences
• Repetition of up to 250 high frequency words
• Average word count of 250-250 words per reader
