How do I participate in a Scholastic Book Club?
- If your child’s school has an open Book Club, you can order online and select school delivery for free. If not, you can set up an online club to order and have books delivered to your home.
How do I get the books?
- School Delivery: If your school has an open order, you can select it at checkout for free delivery to the school. Bulk orders of more than 15 book packs or individual titles can only be accepted for delivery to a school setting and not to individual or business addresses. Please note that the postage charge does not cover any additional duties and taxes that may be payable on overseas deliveries.
- Home Delivery: If you set up your own online club or the school doesn’t run one, you can have books delivered directly to your home. Please note that the postage charge does not cover any additional duties and taxes that may be payable on overseas deliveries.
Do you offer free delivery to my home address?
- P+P is FREE for orders of £30 or more to a UK address. For UK orders under £30 there’s a charge of £4.95.
- Bulk orders of more than 15 book packs or individual titles can only be accepted for delivery to a school setting and not to individual or business addresses.

- If your child’s school has a [Book Club](https://shop.scholastic.co.uk/bookclubs) order open you can choose to have the books delivered to school for FREE. The whole school’s order will be delivered together to be handed out in class for the children to take home.
- Your Book Club Organiser in school will be able to tell you when your order will arrive, as we will deliver the books to school 2 to 3 working days after the Organiser checks out their school order.
Overseas delivery
- The charge for shipping overseas from our UK shop will vary depending on the country it is being delivered to, and the value of the order. The postage charge does not cover any additional duties and taxes that may be payable on overseas deliveries.
- Delivery times for overseas orders will vary.
- For British Forces Post Office there’s a £7.50 P+P charge for home delivery if your order is under £50.00, otherwise it is 15% of order value.
Why has my order incurred a delivery charge?
- Orders placed as part of a school order are delivered free of charge. If however you’ve chosen home delivery and your order is less than £30 there is a £4.95 delivery charge.
When will my child’s Book Club order arrive?
- The Book Club Organiser at your school should be able to let you know when the order is due to be delivered. After the deadline has passed they will need to confirm the total order and we will then deliver the books to school for them to distribute in 2-3 working days.
What are Scholastic Rewards?
- 20% of your order value is given back to the school in ‘Rewards’. The school can then choose books for their library/ classes.
How do I cancel an order?
- If your order was not paid for using Scholastic Rewards, you can [reopen](https://shop.scholastic.co.uk/orders) it up until 5am the day after you placed it – or until 5am the same day if your order is placed between midnight and 5am.
- If you would like to change or cancel an order after this time please call us on 0800 212 281 (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm) to find out if this is possible. If the order has already been despatched you can return it to us for a refund within 28 days.
How do I make a return or exchange an item?
- If you’re not happy with an item you’ve ordered then just return it to us within 28 days for an exchange or refund. Please send the unwanted item to Scholastic Distribution Centre, Bosworth Avenue, Tournament Fields, Warwick, CV34 6UQ with a covering letter requesting a refund or exchange. At the Post Office, please ask for a certificate of posting, just in case there are any issues with the return. Please note – we can only pre-arrange a collection if the books are either damaged or if we have sent the incorrect titles.
What if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?
