Nice exercises.Doubt- answers

I bought my child several scholastic books. All of them are packed with very nice exercises and beautiful designs. The only problem I found is when I checked the answers online. The book is "English practice book for year 5". Some of them, to my knowledge, are wrong. For example in page 61 there are several sentences where kids need to add a relative. One of them says: "I enjoyed the day (that) I won the race". I think it should be "when" instead of "that". As well as the relative "who" as an answer in the following page. I think the relative "who" applies to people not things. There are many more. If I am wrong I apologize. Please could you double check it?!
