Scholastic Schools Live | Benjamin Zephaniah

Legendary poet, author, actor and musician Benjamin Zephaniah will be introducing his brand new picture book, We Sang Across the Sea: The Empire Windrush and Me. Benjamin will be joined by performance poet Ella McLeod to talk about the inspiration behind the book and writing poetry. Primary schools attending this session are welcome to submit questions in the “Ask a Question” field on Crowdcast, and attending schools will receive a video of Benjamin reading the book to use in the classroom.
