Scholastic Reading Spine

The Scholastic Reading Spine is a selection of high-quality contemporary fiction and non-fiction texts to read-aloud and share in the classroom. Designed to reflect a wide range of interests, perspectives and experiences, the Reading Spine encourages children to explore different topics and discover what they love.

  • A core set of stories for each year group that encourages children to read often and widely
  • Spark interest with strong narratives and explore topics that deepen children’s understanding
