Product description

Since his parents died in a car crash on Christmas Eve, Goose has been a lost boy. As he sinks into a lonely life of petty crime, his dog Mutt is the only thing keeping him sane. But then, exactly a year to the day since the accident, Goose meets Anthony – a strange man who has forgotten who he is, but seems to know more about others than they know themselves. And when Mutt disappears, an adventure begins which draws in many people who have lost things. There’s Frank, who has lost his family; an old lady who has lost a precious bangle; an elderly doctor who has lost his wife; and a mother who has lost her daughter. But at the centre of the mystery is Anthony himself. Can he help Goose and the others to find the peace they are searching for? A delight from start to finish, this seasonal adventure takes readers on a terrific journey through love, loss and the quest for home.

At first, i thought it would just be another book….but it is filled with adventure and humour. My favourite character is gooses grandma because she tries to stuff a turkey in the wachine machine??? But i also love the way that anthony doesnt know what is going on and how he got to manchester. This book was amazing

I think this is a really good book, and is really interesting because goose has endured some really unfortunate things but then finds Anthony who has powers. This book is also quite emotional too.

This was a fantastic book filled with emotions and mystery. When Goose’s parents die in a car crash, he turns to crime. He feels alone. His family is in disarray, his Nan is losing her mind and his godfather is in a deep depression. When Anthony comes into his life, a man who appears to know everything about a person once he touched them, things begin to make sense to Goose and he starts afresh.
