Product description

What if you woke up to a new life every day?

A collision of parallel universes leaves eighteen-year-old Abby Barnes living two lives – and sharing them with her double. Two worlds. Two guys. Two selves. How will she stay in control? Every time her parallel makes a new decision, Abby is forced to cope with waking up in a life she has no memory of creating. Abby’s real life (‘Here’) comes with a Yale address, a new roomie, and a birthday blind date with a super-hot lacrosse player. But in the parallel world (‘There’), Abby is still navigating her senior year classes at high school, college applications, and her relationship with Astronomy Boy. Both witty and insightful, this story explores the nature of identity, the role of cause and effect and the defining power of choice.

    Incredibly entertaining

I enjoyed Parallel however I thought that at times there were some 'muddy points'. The story line was incredibly entertaining but at times, it was slightly confusing. Also, I noticed that there was quite a lot of strong language involved. As this book is aimed at teenagers this was not really necessary and could have been avoided. Although there were many good points about the book, there were also a few bad, which is why I would give this book 3*.
