Product description

Puffin Classics: the definitive collection of timeless stories, for every child.

It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then . . .

On an ordinary summer’s afternoon, Alice tumbles down a hole and an extraordinary adventure begins. In a strange world with even stranger characters, she meets a grinning cat and a rabbit with a pocket watch, joins a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and plays croquet with the Queen! Lost in this fantasy land, Alice finds herself growing more and more curious by the minute…

Inspiring artists from Taylor Swift to Salvador Dali, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland has earned its place as one of the greatest classics of all time.

I think this is one of those classic books that everyone should read. There’s a reason why it falls into the classics category and why they have made countless productions and two Disney movies based on it. I have to admit while I was reading it, I knew the storyline and the long words made reading the book painfully tiring and boring in certain parts and sometimes confusing. Nevertheless, the story is very creative and contains some fascinating characters. I think this is a book everyone should read at least once in their lifetimes.

I was always told the story of Alice in Wonderland when I was very little and can remember enjoying it then. But to read the book myself made the adventure even better! If only I could be Alice finding all those magically things on her journey.

I loved this book when I was little, it was exciting and weird to read it again, but it was not the same as the one I read when I was little, because, this one is for older readers you see.

Even-though I have only read the blurb I find this book interesting and unusual, because you don’t get mad tea parties or meet a “rabbit who’s late for a very special date!” in normal every- day life!
