“And then, this afternoon”, Uncle Fred said to me, “you and I’ll go after the fox.”
Raised in the city, Tom hates having to stay on Aunt Millie’s farm while his parents are away. He misses the buzz of urban life, and loathes climbing trees and walking in fields. Then one day he discovers a rare black fox with brilliant green eyes, living with her cubs in the forest. Tom is instantly captivated by the rare and beautiful creature, and his summer is suddenly full of excitement. But then Uncle Fred decides to hunt the fox down. Can Tom save the Midnight Fox and her family?

It was a completely new style. An exciting and adventurous tale.
One day Tom comes across rare black fox with lamplike eyes, so bright they could burn you, living with her cubs in the forest. Tom instantly loves this fascinating creature. But then Tom’s uncle Bob tries to hunt down the foxes and Tom has to try and save their lives.
I would recommend it to anyone!
